Annapurna Food is a venture founded by two ambitious women with the aim of bridging the gap in the Indian soy food industry.

Established in July 2020, the company operates from its registered office and kitchen in Vasai, Palghar.

Mother Nature was founded with the vision of providing nutritious, plant-based protein alternatives that align with evolving consumer preferences. As dietary awareness grows and demand for vegan and lactose-free foods expands, our goal is to deliver tofu that meets both nutritional expectations and culinary performance standards.

Over the past three years, we have strengthened our manufacturing capabilities, distribution network, and product innovation processes to serve businesses across multiple food service sectors.

FOUNDER'S MESSAGE

Driven by Purpose, Built with Passion

Mrs. Sarika Thakar, the visionary behind Annapurna Food, was born and raised in Pune. She completed her graduation from Pune University and has always believed in embracing new challenges and venturing into unexplored territories. Her passion for food, particularly in the health food category, has been the driving force behind her entrepreneurial journey.

She firmly believes that the foundation of good health lies in cultivating the right eating habits. While exploring plant-based health food options, she identified a significant gap in the market—there were very few choices that were both healthy and tasty. Determined to bridge this gap, she set out to create products that deliver on both fronts.

Mrs. Sarika also holds a strong conviction that women are the backbone of every family, and empowering them can bring meaningful impact not only in their own lives but also in the lives of their families. Guided by her philosophy that there is no substitute for hard work and that consistent quality builds lasting trust, she laid the foundation of Annapurna Food in 2020 with just one helper.

In just five years, Annapurna Food has grown into a strong team of 20 dedicated individuals, with the majority being women. This growth reflects her commitment to excellence, empowerment, and her belief that serving good quality products consistently is the key to building a brand that people love.

Today, Annapurna Food stands as a testament to Mrs. Sarika’s vision, resilience, and unwavering dedication to creating healthy, delicious food options while fostering women’s empowerment.
