Annapurna Food is a venture founded by two ambitious women with the aim of bridging the gap in the Indian soy food industry. Established in July 2020, the company operates from its registered office and kitchen in Vasai, Palghar. Mother Nature’s Tofu, the flagship brand of Annapurna Food, embodies our commitment to crafting high-quality, plant-based protein solutions for the modern consumer.

As dietary awareness grows and demand for vegan and lactose-free foods expands, our goal is to deliver tofu that meets both nutritional expectations and culinary performance standards. Over the past three years, we have strengthened our manufacturing capabilities, distribution network, and product innovation processes to serve businesses across multiple food service sectors.

At the heart of our operations is a proud women-only workforce, reflecting our commitment to empowerment and inclusive growth, while actively supporting and uplifting the local community.

Have you ever searched for food that's genuinely good for you and tastes good too but just couldn't find it? That's exactly where my journey began.

Born and raised in Pune, I have always believed in leaning into challenges with curiosity and courage. My love for food and my deep conviction that health begins on the plate led me to explore the world of plant-based nutrition. But everywhere I looked, I found the same story i.e. healthy but bland, or tasty but far from nutritious. Determined to bridge this gap, I set out to create products that deliver on both fronts.

In 2020, with one helper, a kitchen in Vasai, and a whole lot of heart, I founded Annapurna Food. No big budget, no big team just a vision and the belief that truly good food speaks for itself. And it did.

But this journey was never only about food. I have always believed that empowering women creates a ripple effect that transforms entire families. That belief lives in every corner of Annapurna Food a growing family of 20 dedicated individuals, proudly majority women.
